In 2009, the average commercial price of natural gas in Pennsylvania was $11.83 per thousand cubic feet. Since then the price has declined to $9.42 per thousand cubic feet in 2018, however Pennsylvania’s price is still above the median. Over the same time period, the median price in the other states has fallen from $10.53 to $8.07 per thousand cubic feet.
